FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which languages does it handle?

Hungarian first, English too. You set the language of a recording; the system never guesses it.

Which files do I get?

Next to every video, under the same name: a readable transcript with the summary, keywords and chapters; subtitles in SRT and SAMI; plain text; and a structured file for machine processing. Choose the ones you need; all of them are made by default.

Does it say who is speaking?

When several people speak in a recording, it tells them apart and labels the changes Speaker 1, Speaker 2. It never invents names.

How accurate is it?

It writes a verbatim transcript, filler words included, and never paraphrases. Where it is unsure of a word, it marks the word instead of writing a plausible-sounding one in its place. A person decides on the final text: once reviewed, they mark it as reviewed.

Where do my videos go?

Nowhere. openvideo reads the recordings where they are and writes the results next to them. It never modifies or moves the video.

Does it use an external AI provider?

No. Every step runs on your own infrastructure, as part of the ATAILA Platform.

What does it cost?

It is included in the ATAILA Platform Enterprise edition at no extra cost: it is built into the licence fee.

Can it process a whole archive?

Yes. A folder with all its subfolders in a single run, with live progress. You can try the settings on one video first, and a later run never overwrites a reviewed transcript.

How do I review the results?

In the app every video has its own page: the transcript, the summary, the corrections and the uncertain words, and the files to download. When it is right, you mark it as reviewed.

Who can see the transcripts?

Only the people you give access to. The app sits behind the platform’s single sign-on with three roles: those who view, those who run, and those who configure. The files sit on your storage, under your own permissions.

Will my usual player load the subtitles?

Yes, when the subtitle file sits next to the video under the same name. The usual players find it by themselves. The uncertainty marks never make it into the subtitles.

How do I start?

Request a demo on the ATAILA site. We look at what recordings you have and where, and show you openvideo at work.
